Season 2017 – Villla-Lobos 130 years

The Radamés Gnattali Quartet opens the agenda for the 2017 concert season. This year we celebrate Villa-Lobos’ 130 years of birth in concerts all over Brazil, South America, Europe and the United States, many festivals and a new national tour of the Brazil of Tuhu. Our first concert will take place on March 5th, at the Villa-Lobos Museum, at 4pm. In the program, the best of Villa-Lobos, a collection of movements of the string quartets of the composer. About the Quartet

Winner of Rumos Itaú awards 2007 and XIII Carlos Gomes Award in 2009, nominated for the Latin Grammy 2012, Rio de Janeiro Government Culture Award 2012-2013 and Brazilian Music Award 2017, and the Radamés Gnattali Quartet emerged as the first in the world to record on DVD and BluRay, the 17 String Quartets of Brazilian composer Heitor Villa-Lobos.
